In intimate relationships, we often blame one another for our painful feelings - and often end up abandoning ourselves. Not knowing how to lovingly resolve conflict, and closing ourselves to learning from each other can lead to constant disagreement and the undermining of one another’s higher good. In her first Miami exhibition, The And, Lilja explores this behavior and what can often seem like a never-ending back and forth.
