History of B&B

From 2012 to 2017, our exhibitions and programming existed primarily within a personal residence, specifically the bedroom. Through exhibitions, installations, performances, happenings, and meals, we blurred the line between public and private by using social interaction to nurture community and collective expression, while continuously addressing the core question of how art, architecture, and hospitality cross paths. Our focus during this period was to engage with not only the usual “art world” regulars of Miami, and later Los Angeles, but also to do whatever we could to ensure that those who may feel uncomfortable at galleries and museums to understand that art was for them too.
